We have partnered with Olympian Ashley Cain to create an off-ice training program that allows you to train like an Olympian! 

 

With coach-led instructional routines, this program is designed for figure skaters of all ages that want to improve their strength, power, jumping ability, and conditioning. The workouts are typically 30-45 minutes in length and consist of two (2) Strength, Stability, and Power sessions and one (1)1 Core and conditioning sessions. 

 

The Strength and conditioning workouts consist of 5 blocks. Mobility, Stability, Power, Strength, and Flexibility. This program was designed to Build you up, not tear you down. You should not leave the gym feeling like you are completely drained. The goal is to perform each exercise with precision technique and focus, not just complete the exercise to check the box.

 

This program provides the outline of what an off-ice program should look like for a skater. Everyone who joins will be at different levels and abilities, therefore each athlete is advised to tailor it to their needs.

 

Each individual who buys this program has the ability to modify as needed:

  • Need more Volume? Add an extra set or two per exercise to meet your desire to do more.
  • In a time crunch? Take a set off of each exercise, or skip a block all together! You have the power in your hands to make the changes you need.
  • Want to train more than 3x/week? These three workouts can be repeated twice in the same week giving you 6 weekly workouts.
  • Need more conditioning. Repeat the conditioning program as many times as you’d like.

 

You receive three (3) workouts a week. These workouts will be repeated for two weeks in order for you to learn the exercises, progress the weights or intensity . Every two weeks the workouts are new with brand new exercise variations. This allows the athlete to see their progression from week to week on certain exercises.
