Between the ages of 11 and 15, young athletes experience rapid physical changes that can disrupt coordination, balance, and movement efficiency. When strength, speed, and agility are trained without proper foundations, athletes often compensate with poor mechanics—limiting performance and increasing injury risk.
The Complete Youth Athlete Program is designed to develop complete athletes by combining foundational strength training with structured speed and change of direction work—all taught with an emphasis on proper mechanics and control.
Instead of rushing athletes into high-intensity sprinting or complex agility drills, this program prioritizes:
Proper sprint and deceleration mechanics
Change of direction technique and body control
Core strength and joint stability
Coordination, balance, and movement efficiency
Total-body strength through progressive bodyweight training
By building strength and movement skill together, athletes learn how to:
Accelerate, decelerate, and change direction safely
Move more efficiently and confidently on the field or court
Reduce injury risk during high-speed actions
Develop a strong base for future strength, speed, and power training
Speed is not just about running fast—it’s about controlling the body at high velocity. This program teaches athletes how to move fast the right way.
For the first 6 weeks, you will train 4 days per week (2 lift days and 2 speed/agility days). The last 10 weeks will consist of 5 workouts days per week (3 lift days and 2 speed/agility days). If this needs to be adjusted, just let me know!
