Are you ready to begin your journey on interval training ?  Interval training combines higher intensities of exercise coupled with short rest periods which will burn fat, add new sauce to your workout program, increase mucle definition, increase the bodies use of oxygen, work mulltiple energy systems all the while utilizing less workout time ?

 

Interval training is a type of exercise that is associated with maximal uptake of oxygen and an increase in cardiac output. When we train harder and more intensely, we consume oxygen at maximal levels. Therefore, interval training increases our VO2 Max, lactate threshold, and overall anaerobic and aerobic metabolism. Interval training is associated with training at 70%-80% of your maximal heart rate or Zone 3. Intervals in this program are designed to last between 30 seconds and up to 2 minutes. Those that are better trained can rest for shorter periods, however, take your time and stay within your abilities but be cognizant of the work to rest ratios to get the best from this amazing workout. This ratio is prescribed in order to have your glycolytic energy system well-rested in order for your subsequent set to be performed at the same intensity as the first. In order to perform interval training, a firm base of aerobic capacity must be established by the individual initially in their exercise regimen.

 

***All workouts are programmed in with a proper warmup, the particular exercisee programming and a propoer cool down.  All exercises include a detailed video on exactlyu the exercise is to be performed with the exact sets, repetitions, intensity level, rest periods and/or heart rate zones or beats per minute depending on the program purchased.  Therefore, the programming is made quite easy for the end user to not only get in their workout but more importatly given the educational tools for their respective self to succeeeed in their fitness journey.  

 

***Gym equipment is need for this program and supplemental exercises are programmed in if a certain exercise is found to be difficult for the individual.
