The goal of this program is to build a "derby-ready" athlete. We move beyond basic lifting to focus on the unique biomechanics of skating: deep athletic stances, unilateral (single-leg) force production, and the ability to absorb and redirect impact instantly.
This program features:
Strength & Power: Heavy compound lifts paired with plyometrics to increase your "hit" power and sprinting force.
Speed, Agility & Reactives: Drills designed to improve foot speed, plow-stop efficiency, and rapid directional shifts.
Sport-Specific Movements: Targeted work for the "Derby Stance," lateral bracing, and crossover mechanics.
Program Duration: 12 weeks | 3 days per week (Off-skate)
Recommended Equipment: Barbell/Dumbbells, Plyo box, Resistance bands, and a smooth surface for lateral drills.
