This 12-week elite program is engineered to transform your game from the inside out. By bridging the gap between raw gym strength and track-specific mobility, we focus on developing the explosive lateral power, reactive agility, and unshakeable core stability required to dominate the track and hold the line.

 

About the Program

The goal of this program is to build a "derby-ready" athlete. We move beyond basic lifting to focus on the unique biomechanics of skating: deep athletic stances, unilateral (single-leg) force production, and the ability to absorb and redirect impact instantly.

 

This program features:

Strength & Power: Heavy compound lifts paired with plyometrics to increase your "hit" power and sprinting force.

Speed, Agility & Reactives: Drills designed to improve foot speed, plow-stop efficiency, and rapid directional shifts.

Sport-Specific Movements: Targeted work for the "Derby Stance," lateral bracing, and crossover mechanics.

Program Duration: 12 weeks | 3 days per week (Off-skate) 

Recommended Equipment: Barbell/Dumbbells, Plyo box, Resistance bands, and a smooth surface for lateral drills.

With over 15 years of competitive experience on the flat track, I bring a veteran’s eye to the specific physical demands of roller derby, complemented by 6 years as an elite performance coach and a licensed massage therapist. This unique trifecta allows me to bridge the gap between high-intensity athletic development and necessary recovery; I don’t just understand how to build explosive power and "derby-ready" strength, I understand the underlying anatomy and soft-tissue health required to keep you injury-free. My approach is rooted in the belief that true elite performance is a balance of grit and longevity, ensuring that after 12 weeks, you aren't just faster and stronger, but also more resilient and better connected to how your body moves on wheels.
