LSS Post-Season

The primary aim of the post-season phase for a lineman following this training system is to restore and rejuvenate their health and well-being after the significant physical and psychological stress accumulated during the season.

• Normalizing joint function in the base joints.

• Normalizing the state of connective tissues (like tendons and ligaments and fascial tissues affected by repetitive collisions, strain, and high-force demands.).

• Replenishing the energy stores (muscle glycogen) in the muscles.

• Allowing the nervous system to recover and to reset after months of high sympathetic drive and sustained output.

In this phase, we shift from output to restoration, from amplifying performance to normalizing physiological and psychological function, ensuring the lineman’s body is in the optimal state (prepared) to absorb and capture adaptations from the stimulating work of the offseason phase.
