With an initial focus on movement efficiency and foundational training, this program will improve your economy of movement for your race, helping you decrease performance times. As you progress, so too will this program, you’ll boost your neuromuscular coordination, strength and power, to help you climb hills with greater ease, move faster, and ultimately get to the finish line in less time.
This TrainHer® ½ Marathon Run Strong program is 12 weeks in length and is divided up into a series of blocks with each block having a specific emphasis & purpose towards the final goal of the program.
The weekly workouts will challenge you with 3-4 x runs, 2 x strength training sessions and the just the right blend of regeneration, mechanical soft-tissue, mobility & water recovery. Perfect for women who are new to working out and running.
We have designed this program for minimal equipment (Resistance bands & Dumbbells).
No Equipment = No Problem, use any weighted object to mimic the movement, 5kg dumbbells or Laundry liquid bottles.
Please note that you will have 13 weeks to complete the program before it expires. I encourage you to time the purchase of this program with your race in mind.
