MashLete Optimizing Human Performance
Mash Tactical Athlete; "Where Overall Athletic Performance and Longevity of Life Meet"
This program is designed to optimize human performance and maximize longevity of life at least to the amount that we can control. We will test every category important to maximizing human performance and overall health. I don't want you performing the program that I enjoy. I want the program that you enjoy.
Strength, upper and lower body, unilateral and bilateral (one leg/arm and two leg/arm), all vectors (vertical, horizontal, lateral, and horizontal), and we use velocity-based training or rate of perceived exertion to avoid going too heavy.
Speed, upper and lower body as well. The type of speed training will depend on you as an individual, training age, preferences, and position.
Power, also upper and lower body. Power is where strength and speed come together in their most perfect way. We will test, train, and monitor upper body power, lower body power, and rotational power due to its importance for reacting quickly in an emergency, and for longevity of life. Power is the first physiological parameter that adults begin to lose during aging.
Strength Endurance, this is more about one's ability to repeat work over and over.
Relative Strength; this is the strength one has over their own body weight in movements like pull-ups, push-ups, or pistol squats. Don't worry, we will meet you wherever you are.
Aerobic Conditioning, this is where your heart, lungs, blood, muscles, brain, and basically all of your body's systems come together. How well you take in oxygen + How well your heart fills with blood, and how efficient the heart pumps that blood each beat + How well the blood exchanges oxygen for CO2 + How well your muscles contract to send the blood back to the heart. Number on predictor of biological age.
Anaerobic Conditioning, this one is how well and how long you can go as hard as possible. It's also how long can you go pretty hard without giving out.
Functional Movement in all the major joints (this doesn't mean we're going to make you into a rubber band, but instead you're able to move through a complete range of motion with stability present.)
Work Capacity specific to your specific position. Basically, this is your ability to do the tasks important to your job over and over and faster than anyone else.
The best part is that we're going to start with a three day assessment to measure each of these categories. The assessment will tell us where you are, so we know where to start you.
The re-assessment will tell us how far you progressed during the program. You will know that you got your money's worth.
By purchasing this product, you will also receive these three E-Books to ensure that you are able to improve your knowledge of health and fitness during your time with us:
Bar Speed- you will find me referring to velocity based training throughout the program. You don't need to use velocity to complete this program, but it will really help any program. This book will teach you all about the basics.
Mash Evolution: understanding the methods used within the Mash System. Also comes with several programs to use down the rod.
Mash Nutrition - which will give you a solid background in the field of sport nutrition. It will also give you all the information that you might need to improve your own nutrition.
