A strength and movement program designed to help mountain runners build the physical foundation for a strong summer in the mountains.
This program focuses on the qualities that matter most once vert, technical terrain, and longer outings start to accumulate: single-leg strength, downhill control, lower leg capacity, trunk stability, and the durability to handle more volume without breaking down. Built across three progressive phases, it is designed to support the demands of mountain running by improving strength, coordination, and resilience where runners tend to need it most.
Delivered through Bridge Athletic in a playlist-style format, the sessions are flexible enough to work around your running schedule while still giving you a clear path of progression.
This program is for trail and mountain runners who want to support their running with intentional strength work before the season gets busy.
It is a strong fit for runners training toward summer trail races, alpine objectives, or bigger mountain days, especially those who want to feel more efficient on climbs, more controlled on descents, and more durable as mileage and vert increase.
You can expect a progressive build that starts by developing strength and control, then moves toward more dynamic work that supports force production, coordination, and movement quality on uneven terrain.
By the end of the program, you should feel more capable climbing, more stable descending, and better prepared to tolerate the demands of a full mountain running season.
