Odysseus

Odysseus is a program for those who's gym journey has been waylaid by life. If you used to go to the gym regularly and are competent in the major barbell lifts, have stayed healthy and pretty active, but for one reason or another haven't been in the gym for several months or even up to a year, this is the program for you.

If you are new to the gym or have been out of the gym AND inactive for a long period of time this is NOT the program for you.

Odysseus is a six month program consisting of three two month phases. It will reintroduce you to the gym and structured exercise, focusing on joint and tendon health, well rounded cardio, strength, and a little bit of power work. The program is primarily dumbbell/kettlebell movements, body weight work, and rowing for cardio. There are six days of work programmed each week, four of which require you to go to the gym. Each workout should take an hour or less. 

Each workout will begin with a warm up and end with a cool down and each day will work multiple parts of your body and aspects of your fitness. The two days that do not require the gym should ideally be done around fun activities or hobbies - get out and use your fitness!

Odysseus can be repeated continuously if you enjoy the program and feel it's a good fit for your life, it's simple to update the kettlebell and dumbbell movements to barbell work after you've completed a full cycle through of the program.
