Rucking and Barefoot Program - Strength & Conditioning for the Backcountry

This program is designed for a backcountry hunter to get ready for packing in/out, hiking and hunting at altitude. Distance, Load, and Endurance challenges to help improve your cardio health as well as foot, ankle, toe strength exercises and conditioning rucking program with loaded pack hiking, barefoot rucking, distance rucking and barefoot running for bulletproof feet for your next hunting adventure or hike.  This program is geared for ruck/pack style conditioning training. Prevent injuries, and be ready for the this up-coming season.

 

This has 4 sessions of strength & conditioning per week (4 strength sessions and 4 conditioning sessions). This program progresses for a total of 8 weeks.

 

Programs Includes: conditioning/cardio with a ruck/pack while increasing distance and pack loads each session/workout. Starting from zero weight and moving up to 110 lbs. and walking from 1/10 mile and progressing up to 6 miles.  Also included is barefoot training (rucking and running) to improve strength and resilience of the feet for better hikes.

 

* Pack/ruck is required. Optional Vibram (five finger shoes)
