STAGE ONE: ACCLIMATIZATION/HYPERTROPHY - OLY LIFTING

This program is designed to help Olympic Weightlifters return to lifting following a period of inactivity. Program will focus on high reps and lower weight/intensity. 

 

Mobilization and Activation exercises are specifically designed to prepare wthe athlete for their workout/primary lift. 

 

Primary lifts include

- Back Squat

- Deadlift

- Push Press

- Power Clean

- Power Snatch 

 

Secondary and auxiliary lifts focus on improving segments of the primary lift and trunk stability. 

 

All session end with capacity based exercises and a cooldown progression to allow client to prepare for their next session.

Seek immediate medical attention 

  • Injury related to a fall, motor vehicle accident, or trauma.
  • Feeling instability.
  • Inability walk, stand, or sit with out extreme pain.
  • Joint appears deformed
  • Intense pain or sudden swelling

  • Difficulty bending, lifting, walking, or other functional activities
  • Radicular symptoms into hips, thigh, knee, and lower leg
  • Radicular symptoms into hands, elbow shoulder, back or neck.
  • Tenderness to touch
  • Intermittent pain with activities of daily living
