Coach Dusten is a certified exercise physiologist, strength and conditioning specialist, and nutrition coach with 14 years of professional experience in the fitness industry. He is the owner of Brunner Sports Development and Fitness, LLC, a company that offers personalized training, nutrition, and wellness services to clients throughout the country. Coach Dusten has a master’s degree in exercise physiology and health promotion from California University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in human performance and exercise science from the University of Alabama. He has worked with renowned orthopedic specialist Dr. James Andrews at the American Sports Medicine Institute and Champion Sports Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama, where he learned from some of the best experts in sports medicine and performance enhancement.

 

Coach Dusten has also been the head strength coach at Key West High School, where he helped athletes achieve state and regional championships, as well as college scholarships. He has trained athletes from various sports, including golf, tennis, baseball, football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, swimming, and track and field. He has also worked with recreational and tactical populations, such as firefighters, police officers, military personnel, and corporate executives.

 

Coach Dusten holds numerous professional credentials and specialty certifications from reputable organizations such as the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Precision Nutrition (PN), Functional Movement Systems (FMS), Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), TRX Training, Myofascial Compression Techniques, and Team USA Olympic Weightlifting. He is also a registered yoga instructor with the Yoga Alliance.

 

Coach Dusten is passionate about helping people achieve their health and fitness goals through evidence-based, individualized, and holistic approaches. He believes that exercise is medicine and that nutrition is the foundation of optimal health. He strives to educate, motivate, and inspire his clients to live healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives.
