BridgeAthletic Swimming

BridgeAthletic Swimming is designed to develop the core strength, explosive power, and stamina swimmers need to excel in their sport. This program focuses on building strength and minimizing overuse injuries commonly found in swimmers.

Your swimming plan will progress you through 5-6 phases of training starting with General Prep and progress through Strength and Power development.

Sprint: Beginner
This program, which lasts 15 weeks, progresses you toward a series of more complex movements that will improve your Sprint technique. Over this time, you will work through 7 phases and focus on improving your coordination and athleticism. The volume of sets and reps will increase progressively to emphasize adaptation. Sprint: Intermediate
This 15-week program places an emphasis on improving your overall stability and explosiveness. This will translate directly to your Sprint performance. We will introduce barbell exercises and vertical pulls, that will aid your progression through more complex weight-bearing movements.
